First, make sure your Instagram app is fully updated. This step is important because if your app is outdated, some options may not appear and then you won't be able to properly delete your Instagram account permanently.

Open the Instagram app. Once you're inside, look at the bottom left corner and tap on your profile icon.

Step 3: Open Menu

On your profile screen, look for the three lines icon. It could be at the top or slightly different depending on your device. Tap on it.
